Whether it’s fashion trends, DIY projects, or design tips, I want to inspire and connect with fellow creatives!

It will always hold a very special place in my heart. The style of this house is called a berm home and is partially underground. Sitting on 3.99 acres it was such a perfect property! I would say it took us a little over a year-2 years to complete this but lots of hard work and grit went into perfecting it! This had a lot of TLC needed inside and the layout had to get re- worked! I actually rendered out the new floor plan on my design software, to get it how we wanted. Starting with the main area as soon as you walk in to the left it was always the living room but we changed the layout so there was room for a dining table. The kitchen before was very small and enclosed so we tore those walls down and made an open floor plan, still being able to have a little breakfast nook if needed. The main change in the bedroom areas was that beforehand technically there were only two bedrooms because the guest bedroom was just one big room with some shelving separating the rooms so we made walls and it became a three bedroom house. The windows were so unique in this house being partially underground but I loved it!
